Replaced one injector on a 2008 Dodge Cummins 6.7 yesterday and had to enter the new injector fuel rate value into the ECU/ECM before startup. The MaxiDas performed the procedure just fine but then the truck would not recognize the new injector. I checked the other injector alphanumeric codes and they did not begin to match up with the codes on the injector. I called my injector supplier and they gave me a generic code that will usually override a bogus code and that didn't even work. What could be the problem? Why would the MaxiDas have this capability if it doesn't work properly? So far I like this scan tool until this came up. Any advice would be great!
